FounderRussell established Gold Assessors in 1989. Whilst he is London based, Russell works nationally throughout the United Kingdom where he has gained a reputation as a highly experienced and successful loss assessor who deals in high net worth and commercial losses. With over 40 years’ experience, Russell is highly regarded by other insurance professionals as an expert in his field. His reputation is second to none when it comes to negotiation of major loss claims.
Russell has worked on many and varied insurance claims, some of which required technical knowledge beyond that of an experienced loss assessor. Such instructions include in earlier years the IRA bombings, the Buncefield explosion, the London riots of 2011 and numerous claims that have required acting for well-known individuals, businesses and events in the media. It’s this reputation, experience and discretion that has seen Russell work on many high profile and sensitive cases including the incident relating to the contamination from Polonium when he negotiated a settlement for his client, a top London hotel.
